ASTM B564 Inconel 600 Flanges are high-performance components manufactured from a nickel-chromium alloy designed for use in cryogenic temperatures up to elevated temperatures reaching 2000°F (1093°C). Under the UNS N06600 specification, these flanges offer a unique combination of high strength, good workability, and excellent corrosion resistance. The high nickel content in Inconel 600 provides significant resistance to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and resistance to many organic and inorganic compounds, while the chromium content provides resistance to sulfur compounds and various oxidizing environments.
Our Inconel 600 weld neck, slip-on, blind, and threaded flanges are precision-forged to meet ASME B16.5 and B16.47 standards. These flanges are virtually immune to chloride-ion stress corrosion cracking and exhibit high resistance to caustic corrosion and high-purity water. Because of their thermal stability, they are widely used in the chemical industry, heat-treating industry, and aeronautics for components like furnace muffles, electronic components, and heat exchanger tubing. Each flange is subjected to rigorous testing, including PMI and ultrasonic inspection, to ensure reliability in the most demanding industrial environments.
