ASTM B366 F904L Stainless Steel Flanges are high-alloy, super-austenitic piping components specifically designed to deliver exceptional corrosion resistance in severe environments. Manufactured in strict compliance with the ASTM B366 (or ASME SB366) and ASME B16.5 standards, these forged flanges are produced from grade 904L stainless steel. Containing high concentrations of chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and an intentional addition of copper, this grade provides outstanding resistance to non-oxidizing acids, particularly sulfuric, phosphoric, and acetic acids, while virtually eliminating chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.
Our manufacturing line supplies a comprehensive inventory of ASTM B366 F904L slip-on, weld neck, blind, threaded, and socket weld flanges. Available in all standard pressure ratings from Class 150 up to Class 2500, every flange is precision CNC machined to ensure high-integrity sealing. Because of its excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-bearing environments, the F904L alloy is the premier choice for chemical processing plants, seawater cooling systems, pulp and paper manufacturing, oil refineries, and pharmaceutical production equipment.
