ASTM A182 Stainless Steel 317L Flanges are specialized, ultra-low carbon high-alloy piping components engineered to offer the highest levels of chemical resistance and post-weld structural integrity. Produced in complete alignment with ASTM A182 and ASME SA182 specifications, these forged flanges are manufactured from grade 317L austenitic stainless steel. With its carbon concentration strictly limited to 0.030% maximum, these F317L flanges completely eliminate intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation during heavy welding, providing long-term reliability in highly corrosive environments.
Our manufacturing line supplies a wide range of ASTM A182 F317L slip-on, weld neck, blind, threaded, and socket weld flanges. Available in all major pressure classifications from Class 150 up to Class 2500, every flange is carefully CNC machined to produce precision-finished gasket seating faces. These components contain an elevated concentration of molybdenum (3% to 4%) and nickel, making them the superior choice over standard 316L for handling harsh industrial acids, sulfurous gases, and chloride solutions found in paper pulp production, petrochemical facilities, flue gas desulfurization (FGD) systems, and pharmaceutical installations.
